Mobilise and Energise Classes
Library
These are a series of 6 classes that incorporate the energy releasing and anti arthritic series of movements in the practices. The classes are 75 minutes long and are suitable for all levels.
Head to Toes
This class is a gentle all levels practice, incorporating energy unblocking, anti arthritic movements, from the feet all the way up to the toes. You might need a cushion for knee support. IT can be practiced any time of the day: great for waking up the joints in the morning, and perfect for night time to release tension before bed. It is 75 minutes long.
Lower Body
A 75 minute all levels practice, in which we use a towel or rolled up blanket to get into the deeper tissues of the feet and lower body. You can also use a chair for support so that you don't have to go all the way to the floor in forward bends. Some tlc for the lower body!
Mobilise and Energise with Ease
We start off with the Anti-Rheumatic series from Hatha Yoga, then move onto some general mobility for the whole body. It is suitable for beginners and it lasts for 75 minutes. You will need a cushion.
Digestive Series Class.
This is a 75 minute class to boost the digestive system and based on the Hatha Yoga digestive series of movements. You might need a cushion for it, as we don't do any standing postures in the class.
Unblocking trapped Energy
Next in the mobilise and energise series, is this class that focuses on removing trapped energy around the body. You will need a belt and a cushion. It is suitable for all levels and these practices are all from the book Asana, Pranayama, Mudra, Bandha, which is a classical yoga book, and a staple on teacher training courses. It is 70 minutes long.
Bring it all together
This is the final of the 6 week course, and it recaps the practices we've been doing. It is a combination of the anti-arthritic, energy unblocking and digestive series, plus we finish off with the 3 part breath pranayama. You will need a cushion for this class.
