Restorative Yoga - Prana Balancing
Prana Vayu is one of the 5 major energies in the body, according to the yoga system of holistic health. It is located in the chest from the diaphragm to the throat, maintains the heart and lungs and the intake of information. When it is out of balance, it can contribute towards not being able to think positively, and also heart and lung issues. So this restorative class aims to work on this area and stimulate the flow of prana, using breathing, mudras and of course restorative postures. You will need lots of firm pillows and cushions if doing it at home plus a few blankets and something to put over your eyes. I also offered the class some clary sage oil and some eucalyptus oil. It lasts just under 2 hours, so it's a real treat!
